Dr. Oz's simple resolutions for the new year

Dr. Mehmet Oz knows that resolutions can be difficult. And while we may not hit all of our intended goals, there are a few somewhat simple things we can focus on to improve our lives. He suggest people attempt to get more sleep, never feel hungry and have more sex in the new year. We can get behind that.
“Here are my suggested resolutions for 2010: Have more sex, get more sleep, and never let yourself feel hungry. Sound hedonistic? These three resolutions will save and lengthen your life, and they are very realistic and noble goals. New Year’s resolutions were never so much fun — it’s all in how you see it.”

I love Daily Juice! Dr. Oz is great for encouraging a vegetarian diet.
I’m sure everyone meant, “Have more sex in a monogamous relationship.”
Sleeping around with random people leads to STD’s, HIV, unwanted pregnancy, emotional pain, and a lack of self-respect.
The unwanted pregnancy alone leads to either abortions, which are very damaging to the body, or abused and neglected children who grow up without fathers and usually in poverty. These children often grow up to lie, cheat, steal, assault, and murder. I’m not seeing much health in any of these.
One of the healthiest resolutions for 2010 would be to help the two most vulnerable groups in your community—children and animals.
Play with the lonely & terrified animals at Austin’s Town Lake Animal Center (“the pound”). Or help an animal rescuer with a house full of animals scoop cat boxes or clean up poop.
Spend time reading to foster children. Or make a care package for one or more foster children, since they often come into foster care with NO personal belongings at all.
The self-respect, physical exercise, and human connection from the above activities have immeasurable health benefits!
